To qualify, you must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold an active Texas RN license, and have at least 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential. Recommended skills include triage, rapid patient stabilization, and teamwork under pressure.
