- Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
- Communicate changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co‑workers as appropriate.
- Participate in the discharge planning process.
- Initiate patient education plan, as prescribed by a physician. Teaches patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury by explaining post‑treatment home‑care needs.
- Prepares equipment and aids physicians during the examination and treatment of patients.
- Responds to life‑saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol.
- Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, promptly, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.
- Must be a registered nurse with a valid RN license in the state you are applying for.
- Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric Experience.
- BLS & ACLS
- Desire to be part of a dynamic platform and ability to quickly adapt to new facilities and conditions.
