American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week day shift contract requiring TX or compact RN licensure and prior OR experience.

• Adult Operating Room within a hospital surgical department with 22 OR suites and a staff of 120
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 24-hour in-house coverage on days with an overnight in-house team
• Procedures include General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, GYN, GYN ONC, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, Plastics, Burn, Urology, Podiatry, and Colo-Rectal
• Large robotics surgery program with robot experience preferred
• No floating required
• Rotating on-call requirement averaging two 8-hour shifts per month

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required
• Robot experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
