# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – TexasStart Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Round Rock, Texas

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM, rotating weekends, 36 or 48 hours per week based on facility approvalHighlights:- 13-week contract assignment in a high-volume emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health rooms
- Patient ratios of 1:4 for general ED, 1:3 for cardiac/trauma patients, and 1:5 for behavioral health
- Work with state-of-the-art equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers- MEDITECH EMR system with comprehensive emergency services including trauma, resuscitation, and behavioral health care
- No call requirements; supportive team environment with active unit-based council and social committee
- Collaborative staffing model with charge nurses, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs on each shiftRequirements:- Current Texas RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date- BLS, ACLS, TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), and ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certifications required- NIHSS certification required
- Emergency department experience required; trauma and inpatient holding experience preferred- MEDITECH experience preferred- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred
