Operating Room Registered Nurse Location
Live Oak, TX
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleShift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our dedicated surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient care throughout surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the operating room.
- Collaborate with the surgical team during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain sterile environment and handle instruments effectively.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to anesthesia and surgical interventions.
- Assist in orienting and training new nursing staff as needed.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Previous experience as an OR circulator required.
- Ability to fulfill rotating call (one night per week minimum, one weekend per five-week schedule minimum).
