# Job Opportunity – Postpartum Registered Nurse – TexasStart Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Irving, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM start), 36 hours per week, every other weekend requiredHighlights:
- 13-week assignment in a busy Postpartum and Newborn Nursery unit
- Comprehensive patient care including high-risk Antepartum patients and Postpartum recoveries
- Meditech EMR documentation system
- Collaborative team environment with floating as needed to support patient care
- Opportunity to utilize advanced maternal-fetal medicine skills and neonatal resuscitation training
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based nursing experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience caring for high-risk Antepartum patients and Postpartum recoveries
- Newborn Nursery experience required
- Proficiency with IV placement and postpartum care procedures
- RNC-OB certification preferred but not required
- Meditech experience preferred
- Advanced fetal monitoring experience is a plus
