Quality Control Technician II 3rd Shift

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a restaurant, food industry, or sanitation company
• Ability to demonstrate values of honesty and integrity, respect for others, teamwork, collaboration, accountability, and performance
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to successfully complete Food Manager Certificate, HACCP training and sous vide training
• Exposure to sous vide food industry production audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards is a plus

• Conduct and document quality control inspections/controls
• Conduct and document employee inspections for personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Collect samples for laboratory or sensory testing
• Perform equipment calibration as established by the QA procedures
• Identify and investigate non-conformities
• Serve as the point of contact with the USDA Inspector and follow up on any requests, including coordinating any actions resulting from such requests
• Assist with the training of new QA and production staff
• Work on specific technical projects, including but not limited to training and special inspections
