Job Title: Quality Auditor

As a Quality Auditor
, you'll provide quality assurance support for company products and processes to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained. In this role, you will monitor quality systems, conduct audits, analyze performance data, identify process improvements, and partner with cross‑functional teams to drive compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct process‑based audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the Quality management System and to verify compliance with AS9110, FAA Part 145, customer, company and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support external audits as needed.
  • Analyze production, process, and quality data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements.
  • Review engineering changes, technical documentation, and production process updates to ensure quality compliance.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and participate in subcontractor audits in partnership with Supplier Development.
  • Investigate nonconformances, warranty issues, and process deviations by performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports and communicate findings and recommendations to production, engineering, materials, and leadership teams.
  • Research, review, and maintain quality procedures, policies, and documentation.
  • Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives across business units to enhance quality and operational performance.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable safety policies and immediately report unsafe conditions or practices.
  • Support special projects and other quality‑related initiatives as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a technical, engineering, aviation, quality, manufacturing, or related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, military training, FAA certifications, and relevant aerospace experience.
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in aerospace maintenance, manufacturing, repair station operations, quality assurance, quality auditing, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience with conducting internal audits or evaluating compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, or customer requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience with AS9110, AS9100, FAA Part 145, or equivalent aerospace quality management systems.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, quality procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience in an aerospace or aviation manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of FAA, OEM, or other aviation regulatory requirements.
  • Experience auditing suppliers or subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with production management or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement tools and methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, or statistical analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
