Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a F-18 Product Acceptance Inspector to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

• Implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
• Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing ongoing work for compliance with contractual provisions.
• Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner.
• Creates non-conformance records.
• Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished.
• Communicates deficiencies to proper persons.
• Maintains quality control files.
• Documents results of all inspections.
• Communicates with government personnel.

• 3 years of Quality Aerospace Inspection experience.
• 3 years of experience performing product or process inspections.
• 3 years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprint.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

• Experience in either Aircraft Structures, Avionics and/or Electrical F‑18 and other flight line experience/operation check.
• 1 year of experience utilizing close tolerance quality measuring tools.
• A&P license.

Shift differentials may be available for second, third, and/or weekend shifts.
