A prominent manufacturer in the electrical equipment industry is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in the greater San Antonio, TX area.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 10+ years of manufacturing/quality experience, including 5+ years in progressive quality leadership;
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills;
- Experience in ISO standards, Lean/Six Sigma, engineering drawings, and quality measurement equipment.
- Experience managing QA team and quality management systems, ensuring daily requirements, KPIs, documentation, training, and performance goals are consistently achieved;
- Experience overseeing inspections, non-conformances, root‑cause investigations, corrective/preventive actions, first‑article approvals, RMAs, supplier issues, and product disposition;
- Strong background working cross‑functionally (i.e. with Production, Operations, etc.) to resolve quality issues.
