Quality Control Field Inspector

Job Description

Tri-Starr MFG is seeking an experienced Quality Control Field Inspector to support field projects and ensure work meets established quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: TBD

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections to verify work meets specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and document quality issues, deficiencies, and required corrections.
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Work with project teams and field personnel to resolve quality concerns.
• Review completed work and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Perform quality audits and assist with process improvements.
• Provide guidance and support to field personnel as needed.
• Travel to various job sites and work independently in the field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quality control experience.
• 2+ years of telecommunications or utility industry experience.
• Knowledge of telecommunications or utility construction practices.
• Experience with field inspections, documentation, and compliance.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel to field locations.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and climb stairs.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to occasionally work at heights or use a ladder.
• Ability to lift 55+ pounds when required.
