Part Time Campus Research Intern (UTSA & UTHSA) Location Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Campus Research Intern to support our efforts in better serving and informing our on-campus customers at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSA).

The intern will be responsible for gathering information, conducting field research, identifying customer opportunities, and documenting key details across designated campus buildings. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional who enjoys independent work, relationship building, and collecting valuable market intelligence.

• Visit assigned campus locations and gather relevant information about departments, research groups, faculty offices, laboratories, and customer opportunities.
• Identify potential customer needs and areas where our products or services may provide value.
• Document findings and maintain organized records of contacts, departments, and building occupants.
• Provide regular updates and reports on campus activity and observations.
• Build familiarity with campus layouts, facilities, and organizational structures.
• Collaborate with internal team members to share insights and recommendations.
• Assist with additional campus research projects as new target locations are identified.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Campus Research Intern to support our efforts in better understanding and serving our on-campus customers at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and UT Health San Antonio (UTHSA). This role will focus on gathering information, conducting site observations, identifying customer needs, and providing insights from key academic and research buildings across both campuses.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, comfortable navigating university environments, and capable of collecting and reporting valuable information that will help improve customer engagement and service offerings.

• Conduct on-site visits to designated UTSA and UTHSA buildings.
• Gather information regarding building occupancy, departments, research activities, and customer demographics where appropriate.
• Identify opportunities to better serve faculty, staff, students, and researchers.
• Observe and document traffic patterns, building usage, and potential customer engagement opportunities.
• Develop and submit organized reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Maintain professional interactions with university personnel and campus stakeholders.
• Communicate regularly with management regarding findings, challenges, and emerging opportunities.
