Overview
Pay rate: $12.95 to $15.95 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate collaborates with the store team to provide customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves greeting, engaging, and assisting customers with sales, loans, and related transactions. The associate will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
This position offers hourly wages plus commission based on productivity.
- Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Perform open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
- Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
- Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and regulations.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; foster a positive customer experience.
- Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers on exterior areas of property.
- Minimum Age: 18;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems.

Commission Plan InformationThe commission plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance gross profit. Details provided during interview.
