Retail Sales Associate

Overview

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate position. Pay: 12.95 to 15.95 per hour with commission structure that pays for every transaction processed. Earned wage access is available. Unformatted bonuses/benefits are listed below.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail transactions. The role involves greeting, engaging, and assisting customers with sales, loans, and other transactions, and working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; foster a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and other related duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• May be required to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored externally.
• Minimum Age: 18;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service orientation, team player, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience preferred.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.

Commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance; more details provided during interview.
