Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 – Ingram Park Mall at Box Lunch

We’re looking for a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead our civic‑minded, pop‑culture driven brand. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives related to hitting sales targets, recruiting, and team development. You’re a mix of a popular culture enthusiast and a business leader – ready to handle anything that comes your way while driving sales and building lifelong relationships with our customers.

What

You’ll Do
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and/or compensation sales goals.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store.
  • Serve as the store’s #1 fan – create buzz and customer engagement through promotion of new products, social media, BOPIS, and curbside pickup.
  • Provide leadership for an operationally sound business, balancing ops, delegation/autonomy, and customer‑first selling practices.
  • Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
  • Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends & customer feedback.
  • Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit sales targets.
  • Merchandise the store in a compelling way, using planograms, launching all promos on time.
  • Develop a loyal, high‑performing team that is customer‑focused.
What You’ll Need
  • 1‑2 years of retail store management experience.
  • Experience leading teams with skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development.
  • Strong communication, time‑management, professionalism, and a drive to develop associates.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; degree an advantage.
  • Adaptability to a fast‑changing retail environment.
  • Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise product, and lift up to 50 lb.
