Production Associate (Part Time)

Bulverde, San Antonio, TXSalary: $15.35 hourly

Shift: Varies – Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays.

Goodwill San Antonio looks for a hardworking individual to support our donation and production operations.

• Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers by greeting and accepting donations, issuing receipts, and sorting donated goods into appropriate containers.
• Load, unload, and move donated goods, including furniture, using a hand truck onto or from pallets, racks or shelves to maintain workflow of the production cycle.
• Supply team members with materials (boxes, barrels, containers) by walking stations to restock supplies.
• Sort and price donated items, garments and hard lines with limited supervision; monitor and record production levels.
• Tag, rotate and place products on shelves per guidelines; keep aisles free from debris and remove obstructions.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; sweep, empty trash cans, and dispose of trash in appropriate containers.
• Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control and compliance procedures.
• Attend regularly and punctually; report safety hazards and potential theft, fraud or violence to a supervisor, human resources, or the Ethics Hotline.
• Assist in safeguarding Goodwill team members and property.

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience working successfully in a retail customer service oriented environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously throughout the day; ability to perform two‑person lifting of some heavy objects.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the position.
• For positions requiring driving, a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage is required; ability to travel as needed.
