Retail & Store Manager, Customer Service Rep
as a seaworld ambassador, you will provide frontline management supervision covering policies and procedures, projects, personnel, security and safety for all merchandise locations. You will lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go and guide them to exceed financial and guest service targets. Additional duties include supervising and developing ambassadors, writing performance appraisals, facilitating work order completion, scheduling in kronos, managing stock flow and merchandise, handling refunds up to $200, coordinating inventory, assisting with plan‑ograms and promotional presentations, ensuring customer service excellence, and occasionally assisting other locations.

- lead and inspire a team to deliver great guest experiences from the get-go.
- guide the team to exceed financial and guest service targets for location(s).
- supervise and develop all direct reports and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.
- write and distribute performance tracking/appraisals.
- facilitate the timely completion of work orders.
- schedule ambassadors and monitors in kronos; manage timecards.
- monitor and manage location stock flow and min/max levels, restock displays, and process damaged merchandise.
- conduct product research and management related to the area.
- monitor safety of ambassadors and merchandise facility, maintaining neat, attractive and functional displays.
- approve customer refunds up to $200.
- perform department duty responsibilities as assigned.
- coordinate annual inventory for assigned location(s).
- assist manager with plan‑ograms for prompt and correct product activation.
- assist with planning promotional presentation layouts and merchandise events.
- monitor area programs for inconsistencies and make corrections.
- ensure excellent customer service by responding to customer requirements, expectations, and needs.
- occasionally assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed; handle other duties as assigned.
- at least 18 years old.
- valid state driver's license; visiting students and military must have a valid driver's license from their state of residency, provide a dmv report, complete company vehicle driver training class, and obtain a swc driver's license.
- high school diploma, ged, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- minimum two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to speak effectively before groups.
- excellent math skills to compute rate, ratio, percent, and create and interpret graphs.
- ability to frequently lift or move 25–50 pounds and stand or sit for prolonged periods.
- ability to regularly use hands and fingers.
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- positive interaction with park guests and coworkers of all ages, ethnic/cultural backgrounds, languages, and individuals with special needs.
- outgoing and able to provide excellent guest service and interact favorably with the public.
- self‑motivation and ability to motivate ambassadors.
- basic knowledge of financial terms for revenue department.
- ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues.
- clear understanding of parkware, mms, kronos, and microsoft office applications.
- understanding of ap pro, photoshop, atrb, rts, and scheduler systems preferred.
- theme park experience preferred.
