Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our Team.

Pay: $12.95 to $15.95 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.03 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and resolves inquiries while working with a variety of merchandise including tools, electronics, jewelry, and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay varies by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to build rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs open/close procedures as required.
• Maintains clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
• Processes sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers and collaborates to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and performs other related duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; flexibility for retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers outside the building or with exterior storage areas.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations; cash handling experience preferred.
• Willingness to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
