Full Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and responsible cashier to manage all transactions with our customers efficiently and accurately. A good candidate knows how to operate a cash register and product scanner. They will accept payments, provide receipts, ensure smooth transactions, and satisfy customers.

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises
• Managing transactions using a cash register and ensuring accurate pricing and quantities
• Balancing the cash register at the end of shift
• Scanning goods and verifying accuracy
• Accepting payments in cash, credit, or check, and providing change and receipts
• Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps, and gift cards
• Processing returns, refunds, and resolving customer complaints
• Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport
• Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate

• Basic computer knowledge
• Good math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively resolve complaints
• Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is an advantage
