Retail Cashier​/Stock Associate

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking team member to serve as both a Cashier and Stock Associate. This role rotates between operating the register during peak hours and restocking, organizing, and maintaining the sales floor during slower periods. Ideal candidates are fast, attentive, and able to switch between customer service and physical tasks efficiently.

• Operate POS system to process cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Accurately scan items and ensure correct pricing
• Provide fast, friendly customer service
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
• Handle cash drawer responsibly and balance at end of shift
• Monitor front-end activity and report suspicious behavior

• Restock shelves from warehouse/back stock
• Ensure shelves are full, faced, and organized
• Price new merchandise and label items correctly
• Maintain assigned sections (recovery, zoning, cleaning)
• Keep aisles clear and safe for customers

• Maintain speed and accuracy at the register (minimal errors, short wait times)
• Keep assigned sections fully stocked and organized
• Proactively switch between cashiering and stocking based on store traffic
• Stay productive at all times (no idle time on the floor)

• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs (boxes, inventory)
• Frequent walking between register and sales floor
• Bending, reaching, and stocking shelves

Flexible shifts (day, evening, weekends required). Must be available during peak store hours.

• Hourly pay: $12-$13/hr
