Sales Associate

Overview

Armstrong McCall Beauty Supply Store Sales Associate Open availability and flexibility preferred, Monday - Friday 8:15am-6:15pm, Saturdays 8:45am-1:30pm. Hiring for both Part Time and Full Time positions. Full Time consists of 34-40 hours per work week, 5 days a week. Part Time consists of 25-30 hours per work week, 4 days a week.

• Customer Service Knowledge and Cashier duties—cash handling and operating POS system.
• Assisting customers (licensed professionals, salon owners and students) in store and via phone.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, inventory, and safety.
• Receiving, stocking, and ordering inventory.
• Attending product knowledge training in person, or via Zoom.
• Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping.
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card.
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service.
• Willingness to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to quickly and accurately work a register.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
