The Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa—set atop the scenic rolling hills and majestic live oaks of the Hill Country—offers a tranquil yet sophisticated retreat with 140,000 sq. ft. of elegant event space and 496 recently renovated rooms.

We are excited to announce that we are adding to our team! We are looking for an Executive Meeting Manager to join our team to be a part of selling our small group markets!

What will I be doing?

The Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for representing the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This position will manage and sell small groups across all market segments, as well as oversee rooms-only group blocks for weddings and social events.

Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc. Utilize discretion and authority to negotiate contracts and commit company with customers and establish agreements with vendors.

  • Initiates new sales, prospects, and qualifies leads. Write proposals and/or contracts to advise prospective groups for meeting space, space and rate availability for group accommodations for moderately smaller meetings. Develop and quote prices for same.
  • Attend weekly sales departmental meeting and other scheduled meetings to support business operations, e.g., tentative review, lost business review, group-pick up, etc.
  • Conduct site inspections and property tours with potential customers, visiting guest rooms, meeting space and banquet facilities, as well as other hotel facilities.

Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams, to meet and exceed lead generation goals.

Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts. Consistently strives to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.

Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.

What are we looking for?

1+ years of group sales experience within a full-service hotel environment

Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals

Strong prospector with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities

Highly adaptable and able to pivot quickly to manage fast turnarounds on contracts and client needs

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Relevant degree, in business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution (CMP, CPCE)

Knowledge of Delphi.fdc
