Thomas Printworks is hiring an Outside Sales Representative focused on new business development within a defined regional territory. This role is built for a true hunter who wants to sell bundled print and marketing fulfillment solutions — not commodity print or one-off transactions.

This is an in‑office, field‑based role. Candidates must reside in the assigned territory and work from our San Antonio, TX, location.
- Prospect and develop new client relationships within a defined regional territory
- Build, manage, and grow a qualified sales pipeline focused on value‑based opportunities
- Sell bundled solutions, including large format graphics, branded environments, marketing fulfillment, and ongoing print programs
- Lead consultative sales conversations centered on solving business challenges — not competing on price
- Partner with estimating, customer service, production, and fulfillment teams to execute seamlessly
- Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and sales activity tracking in CRM
- Develop a pipeline capable of generating $1M+ in annual revenue within 24 months
- Strong pipeline creation within the first 90 days
- Consistent outbound prospecting activity resulting in qualified opportunities
- Achievement and maintenance of pipeline value targets
- Successful transition from pipeline development to sustainable revenue growth
- Building trusted advisor relationships rather than transactional sales
This is not a “figure it out on your own” sales role.

- Create detailed job tickets outlining materials, production plans, timelines, and pricing
- Coordinate with production, prepress, mailing, and shipping teams to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitor jobs at every stage to maintain accuracy, quality, and on‑time delivery
- Communicate job status updates, including proofs, approvals, revisions, due dates, and delivery methods
- Negotiate timelines when needed based on production capacity and customer requirements
- Prepare final billing documentation and ensure all charges are properly recorded
- Make informed, timely decisions to keep projects moving efficiently
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior print industry experience preferred
- Background in print coordination, production planning, or project management
- Working knowledge of print production methods, materials, and estimating
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
