As an Inside Sales Rep, you will serve as a key customer contact and consultant at our branch, with responsibility for recommending solutions to the customer, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders for our equipment and services based on their needs. It is an excellent job for an ambitious professional who is interested in our industry and can build relationships and provide outstanding customer service.

You will multi‑task, learn plenty and build your ability to drive sales and branch growth.

Responsibilities
  • Process rental quotations, reservations, contracts and invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk‑in, call‑in and telemarketing customers.
  • Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies according to pricing policies.
  • Dispatch delivery trucks and coordinate daily equipment pickups and returns, ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Generate leads for new business, warm‑call lost or dormant accounts, and communicate leads with Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Maintain a clean, presentable showroom and inventory records of branch assets.
  • Educate customers on proper equipment usage and safety procedures; ensure accuracy of contract‑related information entered in the branch system.
  • Coordinate with inside and outside branch employees to deliver customer satisfaction and run necessary reports to monitor equipment and operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education; associate’s degree acceptable.
  • Strong customer service orientation and sales experience.
  • Exceptional relationship‑building, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Engineering aptitude for sizing, quoting, installing and maintaining large equipment projects.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
