Digital Sales Specialist – Central USWhat We Are Looking For:
As the Digital Press Sales Specialist for Heidelberg’s Digital press business located in the Central Region, your role is to drive digital print equipment sales for the region in both commercial print and in‑plant sectors. You will collaborate with the full‑line Heidelberg Account Manager sales team and partner supplier sales force to achieve sales targets through independent direct sales and sales support.
Responsibilities- Drive digital equipment sales by supporting Account Managers, managing the digital opportunity pipeline, and closing sales.
- Develop and execute sales support and marketing deliverables to increase market awareness and prospects.
- Prepare applications analysis, pricing, ROI calculations, quotes, and contracts within VP Digital boundaries.
- Create sales tools, educate customers, and coordinate demo teams for product demonstrations.
- Travel extensively (50‑70%) for sales meetings, trade shows, and customer visits.
- Provide post‑sales support, monitor customer satisfaction, and resolve issues with service teams.
- Assist with special application support, quotes, and testing with suppliers and vendors.
- Collaborate with Product Management on sales tools, training, and product input.
- Basic personal computer proficiency:
Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. - Salesforce CRM experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive travel (50‑70%) including occasional trips to Heidelberg USA’s office and demo center in Kennesaw, GA, and international travel to Germany.
