Account Manager; Group

Position Overview

This role is for a Benefits Account Manager in the Employee Benefits Insurance team, based in downtown San Antonio, TX. The position is hybrid after onboarding (3 days office, 2 days remote).

• Serve benefits clients with groups of 100+ members, including client companies and their employees.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Account Executives, Account Coordinators, Marketing Analysts, and consultants/sales producers to deliver a client experience that meets the agency’s quality and service standards.
• Lead pre‑renewal, renewal, and enrollment processes, and act as a resource for clients on daily service needs, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
• Leverage experience with self‑funded plans (preferred).
• Provide excellent customer service with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Utilize computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe.
• Experience with Benefit Point Image Right is helpful.

• 3+ years of employee benefits experience, including group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary products.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.
• Must obtain a Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license within sixty days of employment and maintain it throughout employment.
