Position Summary:

This position is responsible for sales of construction aggregates in the San Antonio area. The Sales Representative will establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers, assist them in understanding, selecting, and using materials, and effectively administer customer quotations, order entry, sales reports, backlogs, collection of accounts receivable, and overall customer experience. The role requires close collaboration with distribution channels and customers to ensure product availability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the construction materials or a similar industry preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of construction materials, their applications, and specifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
  • Project management experience is preferred to manage projects from start to finish.
  • Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word) and quick to learn new applications.
  • Ability to travel and work overtime as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the Aggregate Mining Industry.
