Job SummaryIn this role you will be responsible for estimating and selling project‑related fire protection sprinkler systems and services in the San Antonio market. The position guides project leads from estimate and budget to sales close with general contractors, owners, and developers, and reports directly to the District Sales Manager.
Job Responsibilities- Establish contact with prospective buyers of new installations, modifications, upgrades, and service by scheduling sales calls, managing existing relationships, and following up on leads.
- Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicating system requirements to the client.
- Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support established sales goals.
- Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships to ensure our services exceed clients’ expectations.
- Support team members in cross‑selling inspection services and extinguishers.
- Meet the key objectives of the annual business and commission plan.
- Five or more years of experience in the fire protection industry (field, estimating, or design).
- Prior sales experience preferably in the fire protection industry.
- Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes.
- Ability to write concise fire protection scopes for a wide variety of project applications.
- Viable local relationships with General Contractors in the San Antonio market.
- Strong prospecting and negotiation skills related to fire protection systems.
- Proven ability to close fire sprinkler sales/contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
- Travel within the territory is required.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and meet company driving requirements.

Additional InformationSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre‑employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
