We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Territory Sales Representative to grow our market presence throughout the San Antonio region. This position is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on developing new business, building long-term customer partnerships, and delivering equipment solutions that keep projects moving.
You’ll work with customers across the construction, infrastructure, industrial, municipal, energy, and commercial markets, providing heavy equipment rental solutions for a variety of applications including:
- Earthmoving and site development
- Road and highway construction
- Utility and underground infrastructure projects
- Commercial and industrial construction
- Oil & gas and energy projects
- Municipal and public works operations
- Emergency response and storm recovery efforts
- Develop new business opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, utility companies, industrial customers, and project managers.
- Promote a full range of heavy equipment rental solutions, including earthmoving, compaction, aerial, material handling, and support equipment.
- Identify customer needs and provide equipment recommendations that improve productivity and project performance.
- Prepare and present quotations, rental agreements, and solution-based proposals.
- Maintain an active schedule of customer visits, jobsite calls, and business development activities.
- Collaborate closely with operations, dispatch, and branch management to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Stay informed on local market conditions, competitor activity, and upcoming project opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed sales, revenue, and profitability goals.
- 3+ years of successful outside sales experience.
- Strong hunter mentality with a passion for business development and prospecting.
- Experience in heavy equipment rental, construction equipment, industrial equipment, material handling, or related industries preferred.
- Established relationships within the construction, municipal, industrial, utility, or energy markets are highly desirable.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage a territory and develop long-term customer partnerships.
- Experience utilizing CRM systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
