Position

Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate / Pawnbroker.

$13.45 to $15.95 per hour.

Commission structure pays you for every transaction. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.43 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs open/close procedures and maintains a clean, stocked sales floor.
• Completes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per policy.
• Answers incoming calls according to company standards.
• Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Works effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Collaborates with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes the assigned training program.
• Works with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties requiring standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers on the building exterior and retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
