Job Summary

The Product Specialist is a key member of the Customer Experience team, responsible for converting qualified leads into loyal customers by delivering a white-glove experience tailored to each homeowner’s project. As the second step in the sales journey (following lead qualification by the SDR team), Product Specialists guide customers through product education, product selection, and contractor referrals. Their consultative approach, attention to detail, and product expertise directly influence Brava's revenue and customer satisfaction.

Product Specialists work closely with cross-functional territory teams made up of an Outside Sales Representative, Account Manager, Field Services Representative, and Product Evangelist to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry to installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage Warm Leads: Promptly follow up with qualified leads passed from the SDR team to understand the project scope, timeline, and customer goals
  • Consult and Educate: Provide tailored product recommendations, share educational resources, and guide customers through Brava’s product offerings
  • Coordinate Product Selection: Arrange for delivery of the most appropriate product samples based on customer needs, and follow up to ensure the customer receives and understands the material
  • Contractor Referrals: Facilitate warm introductions to Brava’s preferred partners based on project type and location
  • CRM Documentation: Accurately log all activities, communication, and status updates in Salesforce according to established processes
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Partner with Outside Sales to ensure a coordinated approach to territory management and customer outreach
  • Customer Insight Sharing: Communicate key customer feedback and market observations to leadership and marketing to support continuous improvement
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify additional product needs or upgrade opportunities and present them appropriately
  • Adhere to Process: Follow all internal procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences
  • Support Continuous Improvement: Engage in team meetings, training, and performance reviews to continuously sharpen skills and product knowledge
Required Skills and Competencies

Experience
  • 3+ years in consultative sales or a revenue‑generating customer success role
  • Experience in roofing, construction materials, home renovation, or related industries a plus
  • Experience working with remote teams a plus
Performance Metrics
  • Speed to Engage: Time from lead assignment to first contact
  • Conversion Rate: Leads that result in referrals, sales, or confirmed installations
  • CRM Documentation Quality: Completeness and accuracy of records
  • Customer Experience: Feedback from surveys and NPS
  • Pipeline Progression: Effective lead movement through the sales funnel
Position Details

This is a full‑time role with flexible scheduling based on customer and territory needs. The position is remote and must be located within the western region of the U.S. (within PST highly preferred), with occasional travel for team events or training. A reliable internet connection and the ability to work standard PST business hours (with some flexibility) is required.
