A rapidly scaling global digital energy organization is hiring a Head of Sales, Americas to lead U.S. revenue growth across advanced software platforms supporting electric utilities, renewable generation, grid modernization, and energy infrastructure. This is a newly elevated IC role to start with direct executive visibility, high autonomy, and the mandate to build and scale sales operations during a period of accelerated growth.

To share more, they are a global, multi‑billion‑dollar technology, engineering, construction, and financial services conglomerate, headquartered in India, with operations spanning dozens of countries worldwide. The organization is best known for its leadership in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, as well as high‑tech manufacturing, digital transformation, and enterprise technology services across critical infrastructure sectors.

This role is a fully remote US role with some preferred locations (Texas, California, the Southeast, Northeast, and the Bay Area), however would require 50-60% travel depending on business needs.

  • Drive complex, multi‑million‑dollar sales cycles from first meeting through close
  • Develop trusted relationships with executive decision‑makers across the energy ecosystem
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams
Ideal background
  • Senior sales leader with experience selling into electric utilities or large energy customers
  • Proven track record in complex, consultative enterprise sales
  • Comfortable engaging C‑suite stakeholders and navigating long sales cycles
  • Experience with energy software, grid operations, renewables, or digital infrastructure strongly preferred
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
Compensation
  • Base salary: $180K–$250K+ depending on experience
  • Commission: 0.5% on sales and 2% based on company profitability
  • Significant upside and long‑term leadership potential
