About the Role
We anticipate the application window for this opening will close on 18 Jul 2026. At Mini Med, you will lead an inside sales team that drives mission‑forward execution in diabetes care, inspiring high‑performing reps to achieve and exceed sales goals. This role is a leadership opportunity to build a team that changes lives while collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure customer interactions reflect Mini Med’s quality and integrity.
Responsibilities- Foster a work environment conducive to excellent sales performance, customer service, learning, teamwork, execution, and accountability.
- Maintain, analyze, and distribute sales results and productivity metrics.
- Establish exceptional relationships with field sales partners.
- Deliver action plans to director‑level leadership on how performance standards will be met.
- Administer sales programs and motivational tools to drive performance.
- Ensure adequate staffing and responsiveness in all activities.
- Facilitate team meetings to maintain communication, develop teamwork, identify roadblocks, implement improvements, and drive results.
- Coach team members to continuously improve sales skills, phone skills, communication, processing efficiency, and organizational skills.
- Mentor employees on teamwork, time/task management, and career development.
- Remote selling of Medtronic products and retaining end‑user patients within a defined geographic area.
- Identify, develop, and close leads for the business; refer internal leads when appropriate.
- Provide input on new markets, product introductions, and existing products or supplies.
- Promote and establish education of the company’s products and/or services.
- Manage and respond to customer concerns and problems.
- Arrange demonstration of products by field sales representatives and support their sales activities.
- Assist field sales representatives in planning and executing sales activities, providing ongoing sales support including calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and rep follow‑up.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience directing and managing sales teams in a high‑volume sales environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of Diabetes and/or Durable Medical Equipment.
- Proven success as an inside sales representative measured by performance against established goals.
- Effective communication with all levels of customers, both internal and external.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, and a proven work ethic.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, influencing and motivating others.
- Strong personal computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- HS/GED + 8 years of relevant sales experience
- Associates + 6 years of relevant sales experience
- Bachelor’s + 4 years of relevant sales experience
- Advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience
- Practical sales, business development, and management knowledge in leading execution of processes, projects, and tactics for products.
- Minimum one (1) year supervisory / leadership experience directing and managing individuals or a team.
