SOGO Insurance is an independent broker that provides customized insurance solutions to businesses and consumers. We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager to help customers with policy renewals, endorsements, and regulatory support while fostering long‑term relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, develop, and close new commercial insurance opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision‑makers
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and relationship building
  • Conduct coverage reviews and identify gaps in protection
  • Present customized insurance solutions tailored to client needs
  • Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and clients
  • Collaborate with internal service teams to deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and production expectations
  • Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetite, and industry changes
  • Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development
Qualifications
  • Active Texas Insurance License preferred (General Lines P&C)
  • Previous experience in commercial insurance, B2B sales, or related sales roles
  • Proven ability to develop and close business relationships
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Highly organized with excellent time management abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and goal‑oriented environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Marketing Plan in place
Compensation
  • Base Salary:
    Starting at $40,000+

What You’ll Be Doing as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
  • Manage and support a portfolio of Commercial Insurance Clients
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance (COIs), and audits
  • Review policies to ensure coverage fits each client’s business
  • Work directly with insurance carriers on policy updates and documentation
  • Be a go‑to resource for business owners and internal team members
  • Spot coverage needs and collaborate with the sales team on growth opportunities
  • Keep client files organized, accurate, and up to date
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Fluency in Spanish (read, write, and speak) is required
  • U.S. citizenship or valid authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license, or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Experience supporting commercial insurance accounts
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple accounts
