The Sales Manager is a selling leader responsible for driving sales performance, coaching field sales teams, and leading market execution within an assigned market. This role balances direct selling responsibilities with people leadership and is accountable for both individual production and overall team performance.
Essential Functions- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Field Sales Consultants and Assistant Sales Managers.
- Conduct regular ride‑alongs, in‑field coaching, and post‑appointment reviews to improve sales effectiveness.
- Drive key performance metrics including demo rate, net close percentage (NCP), NSLI, revenue per demo, appointment volume, and cancellation rates.
- Set the standard for selling excellence through personal production and leadership visibility.
- Meet with homeowners to present remodeling solutions, provide estimates, and close sales opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop top‑performing sales talent.
- Identify performance gaps and implement coaching plans, accountability measures, and development strategies.
- Partner with Retail Marketing, Call Center, Operations, and Production teams to improve lead quality and customer experience.
- Analyze sales reports, productivity trends, and operational data to identify opportunities for increased performance and profitability.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and overall market execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, professionalism, and customer‑first service.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven experience leading commissioned sales teams.
- Experience with in‑home sales, outside sales, or business‑to‑consumer sales preferred.
- Experience managing large sales organizations in commission‑based environments.
- Ability to analyze sales performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience in home improvement, remodeling, construction, or a related industry preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Achievement of sales and revenue goals.
- Improvement in demo rate, NCP, NSLI, revenue per demo, and appointment conversion.
- Sales team productivity, retention, and development.
- Customer satisfaction and reduced cancellation rates.
- Consistent execution of Statewide Remodeling's sales methodology and operational standards.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, Lead Perfection, ADP, and other business software used to support sales operations.
- Frequent travel within the assigned market.
- Regular in‑home customer appointments.
- Frequent standing, walking, and driving.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds of materials or equipment.
- Operate computers, mobile devices, and other standard office equipment.

This position is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Salary and benefits are administered in accordance with Renuity compensation and benefits policies. Additional incentive compensation may be available based on company sales plans.
