Off Premise Sales Representative

Compensation: USD 45,000 – USD 70,000 per year.

We are seeking an On/Off Premise Beer Sales Representative for our San Antonio, TX territory. The Beer Sales Representative works with distributor partners and local distributor managers to ensure successful sale, volume growth, distribution, brand presence and positioning of the supplier portfolio. This role operates within a set list of on-premise accounts and/or large and small format off-premise accounts throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities (sample):

• Pursue new opportunities for distribution and impact local markets to upsell, secure multiple SKU distribution, cooler visibility, and displays
• Collaborate with local distributor managers and distributor partners to align on goals, ensure proper product inventory, and proactively manage out-of-stock issues
• Provide training to accounts on brand/product information, ingredients and pairings, brewing process, history, quality, and current trends
• Maintain store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products, checking date codes, processing restocks and reorders according to planogram standards
• Sell-in and build brand displays according to off-premise standards
• Execute point-of-sale programs to standard
• Assist in executing impactful promotions and educational presentations at accounts, independently or with team members
• Utilize online databases and systems to track territory progress
• Maintain open communication with field and headquarters
• Manage budget and maintain records for monthly reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with all alcoholic beverage regulations

Physical requirements

• Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and stooping to arrange and display point of sale
• Frequent lifting and moving cases of product and other objects of 50 pounds or more

• Associates Degree required;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Must be 21 years or older
• 2–4 years of demonstrated sales experience, preferably in beer, wine, or spirits
• Previous retail, on-premise, or off-premise work experience is a plus
• Experience as a bartender, waiter/waitress, bar management, distributor sales rep, etc. is a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must live in assigned territory with access to reliable transportation – large vehicle preferred
• Valid driver’s license, registered and insured vehicle with clean driving record/background check
• Willingness to travel within assigned sales region
• Ability to lift and move cases of product frequently
• Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays, as needed
• Manage administrative tasks with attention to agency compliance guidelines and standards

The base compensation range for this job classification is between $45,000.00–$70,000.00 annually. The specific pay for a given employee depends on factors such as prior employment history, job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location. This position is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
