VP of Sales - Medical Device

Sales Executive

Well established international medical device (disposables) company is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Executive to lead the company to the next level.

The ideal individual should have experience selling disposable type products in the Pharma, Dental and Beauty areas, mainly to the large medical device distributors and directly to large retailers.

They will be expected to develop and execute a strategic sales / marketing business plan, including overall profitability & growth of the business unit.

Success for the individual will be achieving the revenue / profit goals, while growing and positioning the company in the market.

They will also be responsible for the unit’s ecommerce strategy across all ecommerce marketplaces.

The individual should have a broad business perspective, able to understand and appreciate impacts of decisions on all parts of the business, not just sales volume.

Experience with acquisitions and merger activity is a huge plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Ten (10) years of progressive experience in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical, medical/dental device industries
• Seven (7) years in leading a sales / marketing team
• Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing
• Proven track record of selling into the pharmaceutical, medical/dental device or related industries
• Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue / margin expectations
• Extensive experience in sales budgeting and forecasting
• P&L management, financial forecasting, and merchandising skills
• Knowledge of E-Commerce technology platforms
• Excellent project management skills, leading, influencing, and driving cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of site metrics
• Ability to maneuver through and effectively utilize technology as a tool
• Experience with web analytics tools.
