Viking Rentals is expanding throughout Texas and is looking for motivated Outside Sales Representatives to help drive our next phase of growth. This is an opportunity to join an established company with more than 50 years of success while helping build one of the premier commercial rental organizations in Texas.
You’ll represent a complete portfolio of jobsite solutions—including temporary fencing, dumpsters, portable sanitation, and storage containers—allowing you to develop deeper customer relationships, generate repeat business, and create multiple revenue opportunities within every account.

Requirements
What You Bring to the Table:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, or communications; or equivalent education and experience demonstrating expertise in customer engagement is preferred.
- Strong Communication:
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers. - Negotiation
Skills:
Ability to negotiate terms and pricing effectively with clients. - Organizational
Skills:
Manage multiple clients and projects at once, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. - Problem Solving:
Quickly resolve any customer issues that arise during rental periods. - Knowledge of the Construction Industry: Understanding of construction project needs and how rental equipment plays a role in those needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) is your playground.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work a hybrid work schedule with regular presence in company facilities, customer facilities, job sites, and networking events ; must have access to dedicated office space with limited interruptions; high speed internet capable of video meetings, uploading and downloading documents, and VOIP phone calls.
- Must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle with clean driving record.
- Clarity of vision at about 20 inches or less, 20 feet or more, depth perception, and peripheral vision to perform work on computer, read documents, verify job bids, contracts, and work performed.
- Ability to perform work with frequent interruptions, distractions, and fluctuating workload.
- Operates in professional office environment, where noise level is mild to moderate and construction job sites where noise level is moderate to loud.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, working on a computer and telephone.
- Requires frequent business travel throughout your designated territory.
