Strategic Account Executive - Outside Sales

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Responsible for marketing and direct sales activity in an assigned territory with a focus on selling large individual accounts. Responsible for achieving budgeted sales targets and managing existing clients within the territory.

• Generate contract, job and equipment sales consistently at budgeted levels
• Generate proposals in all sales categories at levels necessary to achieve sales goals
• Canvas assigned territory to identify prospects for our services, concentrating on the largest and most profitable prospects
• Complete and submit all required paperwork for the start of a new client
• Assist with collections on assigned accounts
• Maintain database in company’s CRM program
• Assist with transition meetings and set-up and implementations
• Manage existing accounts through regular quality assurance visits
• Work with Account Executives and other RAEs to maximize sales from each territory
• Document all sales activity as required by the company
• Prepare and submit all company required reports and paperwork when due
• Provide on-the-job training for new sales associates
• Participate in trade shows and trade organizations to promote the company and our services

• Must be excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
• Must have the ability to create and edit sales documents
• Must be able to create and perform power point presentations
• Knowledge of advanced sales techniques is necessary
• A bachelors degree is preferred
• Must have 3 to 5 years of selling experience to regional and /or major clients
• Must be enthusiastic and passionate about winning
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening, both initially and on-going
