Commercial Roofing Sales Representative

Location: San Antonio / Schertz, TX
Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 Base + Commission
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to develop new business and build long-term relationships with commercial and industrial clients throughout the San Antonio market.

This role will focus on identifying new roofing and waterproofing opportunities, developing a strong sales pipeline, and working closely with estimating and operations teams to move opportunities from initial conversation through signed contract.

The ideal candidate is driven, relationship-focused, comfortable prospecting, and interested in building a long-term career within the commercial roofing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial roofing and waterproofing opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Develop relationships with property owners, facility managers, general contractors, and other decision-makers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate roofing and waterproofing solutions.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through contract execution.
• Collaborate with estimating, operations, service, and field teams to develop accurate proposals and solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and roof evaluations as needed.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and existing customers.
• Participate in ongoing sales, product, technical, and industry training.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and customer information.
• Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, networking, and developing new relationships.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of decision-makers.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
• Ability to handle rejection and maintain consistent sales activity.
• Comfortable visiting active jobsites and working around ladders and elevated roof access when necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Commercial roofing sales experience.
• Experience with roofing repairs, service, reroofing, or waterproofing.
• Construction or building materials sales experience.
• Experience with B2B prospecting or outside sales.

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000 – $90,000 base salary
