Farmers Insurance Wang Agency is searching for an outgoing and motivated Insurance Sales Consultant to join our San Antonio office.
In this role, you'll work directly with individuals and families to understand their insurance needs, provide personalized coverage options, and help them make informed decisions about protecting what matters to them.

Your Role
You'll guide prospective customers through the insurance buying process from the first conversation through the sale.
That includes learning about their needs, preparing personalized insurance quotes, presenting coverage options in an easy-to-understand way, answering questions, overcoming concerns, and confidently asking for the business.
Beyond new sales, you'll continue building relationships with clients through thoughtful follow-up and excellent service.
You'll also:
- Work toward individual and agency new-business goals
- Manage and follow up with sales opportunities
- Present insurance solutions based on individual customer needs
- Maintain knowledge of available products and coverage options
- Develop strong, trust-based client relationships
What Success Looks Like Here
Successful team members are comfortable starting conversations, asking questions, listening to what customers actually need, and confidently recommending solutions.
You'll need to be comfortable working toward sales goals and following up consistently. Building relationships is important—but so is being able to move an opportunity forward and close the sale.
Previous sales experience is preferred, and insurance experience is a plus, but insurance experience is not required for the right candidate.
