Rental Sales Representative at Salem Leasing Corporation
What You’ll Do- Generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and lead generation
- Sell commercial truck rental solutions and maintenance programs to new and existing customers
- Develop and present rental and maintenance solutions to prospective customers
- Contact regular and prospective customers to explain products, services, pricing, and program benefits
- Prepare proposals, bids, quotes, and customer presentations
- Consult with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and provide ongoing support
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer contacts, and opportunities within CRM systems
- Support rental customers and assist with rental counter activities as needed
- Collaborate with the service teams to ensure exceptional customer experience
- Keep an updated yard check and know the status of rental trucks in your fleet
- Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
- Proven experience selling in a B2B environment
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
