Onsite Endoscopic Specialist

KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America seeks an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist to support endoscopic systems within a San Antonio hospital. In this field-based role, you will be the primary on-site resource for system setup, functional checks, basic troubleshooting, and coordination of service for endoscopic towers, cameras, light sources, and related devices. You will partner with surgeons, nurses, and biomed teams to ensure equipment readiness, minimize downtime, and maintain high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include OR support, user training, inventory coordination, and accurate documentation while upholding safety, compliance, and KARL STORZ quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for KARL STORZ endoscopic systems in a hospital setting
• Perform equipment setup, functional checks, and basic troubleshooting before and after procedures
• Coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and service with internal teams and hospital biomed
• Support surgeons and OR staff during procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Train and in-service clinical staff on proper system operation, care, and handling
• Monitor and manage endoscopy inventory, loaner equipment, and asset tracking
• Document service activities, issues, and utilization in required systems and reports
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to support customer satisfaction and retention
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce downtime and enhance workflow
