Position: Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc. – 1 Lone Star Pass, San Antonio, TX 78264

Compensation: $17.50 per hour

• Monday: 9:00 pm – 5:00 am
• Saturday & Sunday: 5:00 pm – 5:00 am
• Off:
  Tuesday – Friday

Sign‑on Bonus: $50 sign‑on bonus for candidates with an active Guard Card, paid after 90 days of employment.

• Perform vehicle and foot patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity.
• Control access and greet residents and guests at the gate house.
• Provide customer service at the front desk, including CCTV monitoring, package distribution, and visitor announcements.

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests courteously.
• Manage guest/visitor access, escort trespassers or violators from premises.
• Verify credentials of individuals and vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors, notifying residents of arrivals.
• Assist in protecting people and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to distress calls, alarms, and emergencies such as fire, injuries, or unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report safety, security breaches or unusual circumstances promptly.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation and reports.
• Ensure all rules and regulations are enforced and followed.
• Perform additional duties as determined by management.

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time.
