As an Elite Security Guard Armed – Retail Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will provide reliable hours at an assigned site and have the option to pick up additional shifts.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed 12:00 PM – 11:30 PM (fixed shift)

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): 6‑month commitment at a designated site.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings across multiple sites.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and report security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high‑traffic areas, and point‑of‑sale surroundings for suspicious behavior, trespassing, theft‑related activity, and policy violations; follow post orders for response.
• Support opening, closing, and after‑hours security‑related functions, including access control, employee escort requests, and checking designated areas for unsecured doors, gates, and other irregularities.

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security‑related experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
