Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Access Control Gate in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, adjacent areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, sales floor areas, and parking areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft-related activity, and report observations to site leadership.
- Complete required reports and document incidents, observations, and actions taken while communicating with local management, team members, and/or first responders as needed.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
