As a part‑time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Sun 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Serve in an armed patrol role in accordance with post orders and applicable requirements, maintaining professional presence, handling access‑related issues, and supporting security‑related response efforts as needed.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
