** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by following site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate escalation and de-escalation techniques for an armed post in a retail location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assist with access and crowd management, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or hazards to site leadership.

+ Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in written reports and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated personnel as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
