What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site‑specific procedures, monitoring access activity, and supporting security‑related protocols for a financial services location.
- Greet visitors, employees, and vendors, verify identification and/or appointment details, and help direct authorized individuals according to location procedures.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Maintain detailed front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report security‑related concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Monitor entrances, lobby activity, alarms, and communication systems from a stationary post to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Level III Armed Guard Card is required for Texas only.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
