Position: FLEX Communications (Dispatch) Officers
Pay: $20.50 Per Hour | Part Time | San Antonio, Texas

Schedule & Availability

FLEX Hours – Must be fully flexible and able to work any hours – no exceptions. Part time position. Weekend and holiday availability required. Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice.

Security Operations Center Experience is Required.

Join our growing team as a FLEX Communications (Dispatcher) Officer, where you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of people, assets, and operations in North America. Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, dispatching response personnel, and coordinating emergency communication 24/7/365.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real time.
  • Monitor the facility’s CCTV for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
  • Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system and national weather alerts, acting quickly and decisively.
  • Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer‑based software.
  • Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
  • Provide security support for various client projects and events.
  • Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property.

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Non‑Commissioned security license through the state of Texas.
  • Familiarity with report writing.
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
  • Previous security experience required.
  • Experience utilizing security equipment and protocols.
  • Must pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
